LK Roofing
Pitched Roof in Orpington, May 2026
Project Overview
This project involved a complete pitched roof renewal in Orpington. LK Roofing Group removed the existing tiles, felt and battens, then installed new roofing felt, battens and concrete plain tiles. The leadwork around the chimney stacks was renewed and new cemented verges were formed to finish the roof edges.
The Original Roofing Problem
The original hipped roof had an aged tiled covering across the main slopes, hips, gable edges and areas adjoining the chimney. The before photographs record the existing roof profile and weathered covering before strip-off.
The renewal needed to address the full roof covering together with the hip, verge and chimney weathering details.
Work Completed by LK Roofing Group
The existing tiles, roofing felt and battens were stripped from the roof. New roofing felt and battens were installed before the roof was re-tiled using concrete plain tiles.
The renewed covering was completed across the hipped roof slopes and adjoining roof sections. Leadwork around the chimney stacks was replaced, new cemented verges were formed and the hip and edge details were finished.
