Pitched Roof on Walpole Road

This project involved renewing the main pitched roof and the tiled bay at a home on Walpole Road in Bromley. LK Roofing Group completed a renewed plain-tile covering, hip and ridge detailing, and leadwork around the bay windows and external tiled angles. The result is a consistently finished main roof and bay with carefully completed junction details.

Before work began, the property had an existing plain-tile roof covering with hip and ridge details, eaves, roof junctions and associated leadwork. The pre-work photographs record these areas, including the roof covering alongside the projecting window and dormer area.

The project covered the main pitched roof and the bay’s vertical tile hanging, with attention to the connections between tiled surfaces, windows and leadwork.

The main roof was completed with a renewed plain-tile covering laid in consistent courses. Hip and ridge areas were finished, with mechanical fixing visible along the completed hip lines. Eaves and roof junctions were finished around the upper and lower roof sections, including the gable and dormer areas.

The bay was completed with renewed plain-tile hanging around the projecting window structure. Leadwork was formed beneath the windows and at the external tiled angles to finish the weathering details and junctions. Final photographs recorded the completed main roof and bay.

The completed roof has uniform tile courses with finished hip, ridge and eaves details. The bay’s renewed tile hanging and formed leadwork provide a neat finish beneath the windows and around the external tiled angles.
